Heavenly Father, I come before you with arms outstretched.
I am in need of your grace, for I cannot do this alone.
Reveal to me my vocation,
as I discern a call to the most holy priesthood.
Do not let me overthink this,
and please, let me never take this task lightly.

Jesus, my savior and my God,
help me to be brave like you.
That before sweating drops of blood,
you had the courage to respond to the Father, “Not my will, but yours, be done.”
Make my heart like your Sacred Heart.
Let me lose my life in order to gain it,
to know the joy of serving.

Come Spirit of Divine Charity,
set me on the right path.
Inflame the desire to take up my cross,
and to follow wherever Jesus will lead.
Work a mighty work within me,
and stir up your gifts within my soul.

Blessed Virgin Mary, my Mother in heaven,
wrap me in your mantle of protection.
Defend me from the wicked attacks of the devil.
Crush the head of Satan,
and do not let him lead me astray.
Light the way to your Son Jesus,
and ask Him the favor of knowing my vocation.
