DAILY WEEKDAY SCHEDULE

6:00 A.M. Holy Hour of Adoration – First Option
7:10 A.M. Morning Prayer and Mass
8:00 A.M. Breakfast
9:00 A.M. Classes, Time for Study and Assignments, and Recreation
12:00 P.M. Lunch
1:00 P.M. Classes, Time for Study and Assignments, and Recreation
4:00 P.M. Holy Hour of Adoration – Second Option
5:15 P.M. Evening Prayer
5:30 P.M. Dinner
6:30 P.M. Classes, Time for Study and Assignments, Recreation, and Fraternity
8:00 P.M. Communal Holy Hour and Fraternity Following in O’Bergs (Thursdays)

OTHER EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
  • Spiritual Direction twice a month with your personal Spiritual Director.
  • A meeting with your Priest Formation Advisor once a month.
  • A conference with the Rector of the seminary once a month.
  • Two family meals per month, gathering as a whole community and sharing dinner together.
  • One Saturday morning each month is dedicated to a topic of formation for the priesthood.
  • Every seminarian has a house job that they are assigned, this is a way of providing service to your brother seminarians. Examples include: class representative, athletics director, hospitality, liturgical duties, and activity coordinators.
  • Each year you are assigned a pastoral ministry, this can include bringing the Eucharist to the homebound, doing social work, visiting the sick in hospitals and nursing care, and in your final year you are assigned to a parish on the weekends.
  • For recreation and fraternity there are a variety of events, including: the basketball team, hockey team, soccer team, ultimate frisbee, racquetball, movie nights, card and board games, ping pong and air hockey in O’Bergs, bonfires in the courtyards, as well as simply hanging out and talking to friends.
  • The seminary does have a full gym, racquetball courts, work out rooms with weights and cardio machines, an outdoor track, and a soccer/ultimate frisbee field.
