Discernment Weekends are a unique experience for men feeling a call to the priesthood. Spending four days living at the seminary provides you with a first-hand opportunity to see what it’s like from the inside and to discern with like-minded men.
Attending a Discernment Weekend is perfect for any man from the Archdiocese of Detroit (18 – 55 years old) who is discerning a vocation to the priesthood. These weekends provide you with more tools for proper discernment.
A large part of the Discernment Weekend focuses on the Aspects of Seminary Life and the Pillars of Formation (Spiritual, Human, Intellectual, and Pastoral). These four presentations are the foundation of the seminary formation program.
